Mr David Porter
Non-Executive Director

Mr Porter is a professional geologist and Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy with over 40 years experience in the mining industry, including most facets of exploration and mining. For the past 16 years he has focussed his activities in Africa and was the founding Chairman of Cam Iron SA and Congo Iron SA.  Mr Porter was also instrumental in the development of two coal projects in the Waterberg region of South Africa which are at development stage.

Prior to Mr Porter’s project activities in Africa, he was Managing Director of three ASX listed exploration companies, all of which developed gold and base metal projects.  Mr Porter worked for many international mining companies, with small ASX listed companies and as an independent consultant on gold, base metal, iron ore and coal projects. 

Mr Giulio Casello
Non-Executive Director

Mr Casello has more than 30 years experience as a senior executive in operations, business development and corporate strategy, including national and global exposure in manufacturing environments for several blue chip organisations. Mr Casello was appointed as Managing Director/CEO of Sundance in October 2010, however due to the Company's current primary focus on legal proceedings in the International Chamber of Commerce in London and
Paris, Mr Casello has stepped away from the full-time role of CEO and has taken on a Non-Executive role with Sundance.

Prior to joining Sundance in 2020, Mr Casello held the position of Chief Operating Officer for iron ore miner Sinosteel Midwest Corporation, where he led its development from an exploration company to a producer.

He previously worked at Century Aluminium Company in the United States, where as Senior Vice President, Business Development he was responsible for developing and implementing a growth plan in aluminium, alumina and critical raw materials (carbon, bauxite, energy) and managing new projects across the globe. He has also held a number of significant positions in Alcoa spanning across 20 years, including Director of WA Operations, General Manager Alcoa World Chemicals and Kwinana Alumina Refinery Location Manager.  

Mr Brett Fraser
Non-Executive Director / Company Secretary

Mr Fraser has worked in the finance and securities industry for over 25 years. For many years he was an analyst working in merchant banking with a particular focus on mining and designing financial models for equity raising or corporate transactions.

He is currently the Chairman Blina Minerals NL and is a Director of Aura Energy Limited. Mr Fraser is a former Chairman of Drake Resources Limited and Doray Minerals Limited and former Director of Brainytoys Limited and Gage Roads Brewing Co Limited.
